The Micro-moth recording spreadsheet has been updated to V2 (June 2025) which includes the accepted vernacular names as shown in the latest edition of the Sterling, Parsons and Lewington Field Guide to the Micro-moths. Wheeler names will still work (as do Bradley codes) just in case you use them in the data entry column (A), but the accepted vernacular will appear in the Vernacular column (D).
So, for example, Tachystola aroxantha can be recorded using the taxon name, ABH number 28.024, Bradley code 656, Ruddy Streak (Wheeler) or Australian Orange-tip (Sterling). Whatever you choose, Tachystola aroxantha will appear under Taxon which is what the county recorders use to upload to national databases.
